Bug Description
I love Ubuntu!!
I had the following error code while upgrading from ubuntu 18.04 to 20.04 :
'''sh
installed nvidia-340 package post-installation script subprocess returned error exit status 10
'''
This followed by the upgrade getting aborted. From now onwards the screen is blank whenever it is restarted.
Then I had to follow this article
https:/
and this article helped me to get back the desktop GUI view.
However I would like to know why it was caused. Was it due to hardware problems or the incomplete installation of any drivers, I am not sure of it. I am reporting this as a bug because I was told to do so by the do-release-upgrade software. Please let me know if you need any logs.
