Dialer background color changes as you scroll the page

Bug Description
The clock app uses the new SDK Dialer widget. I noticed that while scrolling the page (which houses the dialer) up and down that the dialer background changes. I have attached to video to showcase the issue. As you might notice in the video, when the page is scrolled up, the background becomes pinkish while scrolling down makes it purple. So somehow the dialer background is dependant on the page background while in reality it shouldn't be.

it is very difficult for me to see changes in the color of the dialer. Perhaps it is an optical illusion and the app background behind the dialer changes color?
can you include a small sample program that we can reproduce this with?
