Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubuntuone-client-gnome

My X session crashed. After I logged in again, I saw that gnome-settings-daemon had created a 60GB .xsession-errors.old file (filling /home), containing repeated errors about

assertion `G_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed

Because /home was full, apport refused to run, but gdb showed this traceback

(gdb) bt

I guess it needs to abort if it cannot destroy the object, rather than retrying.

I'm filing this against ubuntuone-client-gnome because I guess that is the innermost non-generic frame.
