Bug Description

Filed on behalf of Cimi:

Please add the attached 'workspace-switcher.png' to install to:

/usr/share/icons/unity-icon-theme/apps/48/workspace-switcher.png

Replacing the current icon. The difference is that the previous icon is opaque in the middle, and the new icon is transparent in the centre of the panes.

Note that in the short term, this will make the workspace icon it be much brighter than usual. The corresponding change to Unity is in staging:

Omer: the icon is scaled to the appropriate size, with some aliasing artefacts. However since 48 pixels the default (common case), and it is not currently changed without explicit user-intent, the assets are not optimised for non-default sizes at present.
