Bug Description

When you switch to empty desktop, global menu still displays the menu of the last active application.

I would expect no menu instead.

It is Unity 3d.

Yes, it seems enabling desktop icons in Ubuntu Tweak did the trick.
Previously it works without it, hence the problem.

Of course, it may be good to add some warning to Ubuntu Tweak to prevent
similar problems for other users.

Not sure if that helps users who inherit the option from previous versions.
