update-manager bug reports would benefit from an apport-hook

Bug Description

Binary package hint: update-manager

update-manager in Oneiric has an apport package hook and this should be SRU'ed to Natty.

TEST CASE:
1) Execute 'ubuntu-bug update-manager' in a terminal
2) In the resulting apport dialog notice that 'DpkgTerminalLog.txt' is not included in the bug report
3) Don't report the bug

Install the new version of update-manager from natty-proposed
1) Execute 'ubuntu-bug update-manager' in a terminal
2) In the resulting apport dialog notice that 'DpkgTerminalLog.txt' is included in the bug report
3) Don't report the bug

The apport hook was added in bug report 721382 for what its worth.

Your upload of update-manager 1:0.150.3 in natty-proposed adds the .bzr and .bzr-builddeb directories to the packaging diff.

Please re-upload with these directories excluded from the package. Other than that, looks good.

Hi Chris,

Can you show me how you found the .bzr and .bzr-builddeb directories in the stuff I uploaded? I can't find traces of that in my local files and after doing a local sbuild, I also can't find any traces of those.

Before I upload another version, I want to double check with the same procedure you used, if possible.

I found those directories in the queuediff output, which grabs the launchpad-generated debdiff from the unapproved queue (such as https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/lucid/+queue?queue_state=1 ). update-manager is now in the rejected queue, but you can still see the launchpad-generated diff: http://launchpadlibrarian.net/74739460/update-manager_1%3A0.150.2_1%3A0.150.3.diff.gz

You don't need to take Launchpad's word for it either - if you download the source package from the rejected queue you'll find the .bzr and .bzr-builddeb directories in it.

Setting the Development task to Fix Released, as the apport hook has been added and released to oneiric, see the changelog:

update-manager (1:0.151.9) oneiric; urgency=low
  * do not crash if lspci is not installed
  * merged lp:~brian-murray/update-manager/apport-hook-changes, thanks!
  * merged lp:~eapache/update-manager/unity-urgency-hint, many
