Virtual Machine Manager window doesn't maximise properly

Bug Description
Launch virt-manager then try to maximise the window. It leaves a 'hole' between the menu bar and the user interface showing what's underneath - which you can even interact with as though it's on top. Switching to another application and back immediately causes the content to maximise as expected.
