Bug Description
As the screenshot shows, the play bar is ALWAYS visible on top of other windows when VLC is open. The bar itself is functionless and mouse clicks pass through it as if it isn't there, so this purely a visual thing.
This never happened in Natty.
The only way to get rid of it is to close VLC, which isn't what I want to do when pausing a video.
Hiding VLC in the taskbar has no effect either.
