Some menu items are not usable, at least in an ubuntu session (light-themes
Test case:
open a file in vlc
go Playback > speed is greyed out, custom bookmarks is greyed out
Test case:
open a video in vlc
go Audio > Audio track is greyed out
May be others
Tmp workaround -
open vlc with this, all menus that should be active are active (returns menus to vlc window
