help pages not available (trying to find why rubbish bin is not showing)

while trying to find why rubbish bin not showing on screen the "windows manager" does not open in "other" applications (no icon against wording). When trying for help the message "The URI ‘ghelp:user-guide?gospanel-52#gospanel-52’ does not point to a valid page." appears.
