ubuntuone-client crashes on select

Hi Joey,

looks like the client metadata is broken, to be more precise the shares metadata.
Could you attach ~/.cache/ubuntuone/log/syncdaemon* files or mail them to me (or ping me on IRC)?, be aware that it might contain the name of the files & dirs under ~/Ubuntu One.

Also, in order to fix the client, I think that removing the broken metadata entry might get things working again.

heh, let's try one thing first :)

1) quite the client
2) rm ~/.local/share/ubuntuone/syncdaemon/vm/shares/a/f/4/af4cb064-d67c-4d5d-98eb-03cb3f19670d*
3) start the client

if that doesn't work, take a look to https://answers.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntuone-client/+faq/778 in order to completely wipe all the metadata

crash.

Joey: did Ubuntu One crash after trying Guillermo's first suggestion (removing one specific share), or did it continue to crash even after wiping all the metadata as explained in the Launchpad Answer?

Both. I cleared the share, then the metadata. The only thing that
made it work again was me going to the web portal and deleting all my
files.
