Can anyone affected confirm that this happens also after session restart? Also can you paste the output of `apt-cache policy unity-scope-musicstores`?

I had a bug effecting the music store lens under 12.04 after upgrading to 12.04 from 11.10.

12.04 became unusable after the upgrade as on a reboot or a fresh start, the login screen never appeared, so I was unable to select a user to login as, there was only the top menu bar and options to shutdown or suspend.

I though it may be a kernel issue so as a test I rebooted and selected the previous kernel I was using under 11.10 and that sorted the login problem and the bug I had been getting with Music-lens seems to be gone too.

Kernel 3.2.0-24 seemed to have the issues on 12.04. I'm not running 3.0.0.17 again and so far no issues with the music lense or login fields going missing.
