Sebastian - yes I did whitelist the system tray, and yes the bug looks to be the same as the existing 761409 bug.

BIL30AL - I tried what you said but I was told by a pop-up dialogue box:

'You are not the reporter or subscriber of this problem report, or the report is a duplicate or already closed.

Please create a new report using "apport-bug".'
