Indicator menus close immediately after opening on second monitor

Bug Description

When clicking any indicator, a menu should open, and stay open till a another click closes it, or another menu is chosen.
However on my second monitor, I often experience that they open and then close immediately again. Other times they reopen after closing, or just work normally. Basically there is three kinds of behaviour when I click them on my second monitor:
1. click > open
2. click > open > close
3. click > open > close > open

Bug #758923 might be related, as I suggest the messaging menu to be implied somehow. It's often there the behaviour starts, and I've seen it on my primary monitor now as well.

Update: Seems like the issue is independent of monitor and menu clicked.

Same problem here, indicators open fine on my rightmost monitor, but have trouble on my left one. I can confirm the flaky behavior with Unity-3D. With Unity-2D it does open -> close every time.

I can open an indicator menu on the right monitor, then slide over to the ones in the left one, and them menu stays open. Seems like it's linked to click events.
