Window title visible when screen locked

thanks for your bug report. is the issue persistent or was it specific to only one session? I believe the issue would have gone after login/.

The issue exists for all sessions with unity and only exists after
login. The desired behavior is for the window title to not be visible
when the screen is locked but the unlock password dialog is visible.

A clarification for steps to reproduce: Web browser window must be maximized.

Is that a multimonitor setup? I can't seem to recreate the issue with the steps you provided.

Neither can I reproduce the issue. For now, it seems like gnome-screensaver may be at blame here, so I'm adding a bug task for it

I am on a single monitor setup (a laptop). To clarify the issue, when the
dialog to enter password to unlock screen shows the menu bar on the top of
the screen is visible. If a window was maximized before the screen was
locked the window title is visible there.

I had the issue once today. It happens randomly, not always when an app is maximized. Difficult to reproduce (happens like one time in a hundred). I'll mark this confirmed, seems more like a gnome-screensaver issue than Unity.

Thats odd as for me it happens every time my screen is locked. I am on
64bit ubuntu although I'm not sure how that would make a difference.

I have this problem. Sometimes the dock shows, sometimes it doesnt. And some times only part of the dock is drawn (probably related to my Nvidia card.. it does strange things).

I still have this bug on intel integrated graphics

Gregory, do you have the launcher set to auto-hide? If so, this is a duplicate of bug 886605.
