Bug Description

It should be easy enough to query an IMAP server for all the folders and the number of unread messages in them. Try producing a folders-summary using that. Some people really miss this feature:

This looks to be the closest report to the feature I would like to see. A folders summary buffer would be very handy even for POP users like myself where we auto archive. I would like to be able to pop open a buffer every once in a while showing folders new mail counts for lists that I read once a day for instance. I don't understand why berkeleyDB is necessary, unless folks have thousands of folders, why not a simple tab separated ASCII db or something? Doesn't seem like it has to be unique to IMAP users in such a case. Any reason otherwise?

Basically, this is just another nomination from someone who finds this useful.
