Bug Description

Have two MSI Wind U100 each with a brand new install of Ubuntu 12.04. Installed weather on both machines. Setup good well but only the weather icon shows up in the menu bar. Attached is a screenshot of what it looks like. One an old installation of 12.04 I had no problems on one of the MSI Wind U100. Don't know what other info may be needed.

It looks like Google's API for retrieving weather isn't working. Yahoo's appears to, except that then it tried to get timezone data from earthtools.org, which isn't working now either, so neither Google nor Yahoo works as a source for weather information at the moment.

Same here . . . this app is not what it was back then ... in Lucid Lynx ! Now im on Precise 12.04.2 LTS and it is getting worse

You might check to see if you right click on the weather applet go to Preferences and check show temperature near indicator. My problem with it is that when you click on show forecast you get some sort of error message and at times it crashes.
