Infinite loop in GTK client (timeout_add callback)

When the connect item on the trayicon context menu is activated it spawns a callback with timeout_add after a short delay to do a network scan and populate the menu. If the callback finds that the item is no longer being hovered over then it returns True. This results in the timeout being triggered every 800ms. It might be stopped if the item is being hovered over at a subsequent callback, otherwise it runs forever.
