Edit formatting style from GUI

Bug Description

There is a config file that allows changing e.g. the color of links or to make underline real underline instead of highlight. However this is difficult to find for users. The basic options like colors and underline should be editable from the preferences dialog. Make sure any manual edits of the config file for advanced stuff does not get overwritten when using the dialog.

I suggest that this feature be made high priority. I have been showing Zim to other users and I have had a lot of explaining to do regarding formating, which mostly sounded like excuses.

Also, should I summarize the important bits of bugs 239854, 271916, 271918, and 272516 here so that it can be taken into consideration when writing the Formating Style GUI and it's behaviour?

Demoting to "confirmed" because I want to reserve "triaged" for bugs that are ready to be patched immediately.

See bug #271916 for a proposal for the dialog layout.

Here is the proposed dialog layout from bug 271916.

The dialog layout has these options: Font, Size, Strikethrough, Underline, Italic, Bold, Highlight. These are all standard KDE options with the exception of Highlight. The Highlight button I made in Gimp, but you can see I used a lower "h" instead of upper "H". I can redo the icon with an upper "H" if you want to use it as I do not think that Gnome / KDE have a dedicated Highlight icon.

Here is an improved Styles dialog mockup. I added a Text Colour button, and instead of the Highlight button there is a Background Colour button. Also, it includes all the styles currently supported in Zim (except for Strike, which it looks like will be dropped as it was not mentioned here with it's other similar styles).

Strike will not be dropped. (Neither will headings, links and other formatting styles not mentioned explicitly in this discussion.) For strike the function and rendering are very closely related, so seems no reason to rename this one. Of course it should be possible to render strike not as strike, but e.g. as bold red. But this will not change the icon or name.

Would be nice to have a preview on the dialog as well. Perhaps the item name in the left column can be rendered using the selections for it? Or perhaps it would be better to have the preview column on the right (in case a selection makes the preview invisible or illegible).

While waiting for a styles GUI editor, would it be easy to implement a way to re-load the styles without restarting the app? (Perhaps in conjunction with Ctrl-R?) If one is testing different style settings it can be quite tedious having to restart all the time.
