How would bagpipe be notified if another external thing causes the PORT_DELETE abort?

As far as I know the only way to save something from BEFORE_DELETE to AFTER_DELETE is by putting it in the context object. I'm not a 100% sure if that's intended usage of the context but as far as I know that works.
