Bug Description

Tarball : openerp-7.0-20130306-002055.tar.gz

Reproduce
1) I created a new db without loading sample data meanwhile creating an admin user (admin 1)
2) Install HR module only
3) Create another user (admin 2) , set the same access right as admin 1 for all displayed module to Manager, tick Contact Creation and all that i can see.
4) Log out from admin 1 and using admin 2 to login
5) Goto->setting->Companies->Companies and edit the "your company" name. After changed and click save , system prompted "Access Denied"

I didn't make any changes in group or access control list. Is this a configuration issue or a bug?

Regards

Ken Chen

Hello Ken,

I have tested your scenario. but I think you might have a missed something..
You have faced the access problem due to the misconfiguration. If you try with "Contact Creation" rights than It's work fine.

would you please try in this way.
Hope this will help for you.

Thanks!

Hello Amit.

Glad to hear from you.

i've tested with ticked the "Contact Creation" for this new user. But there
is the same result for access denied.
Anything that i can test further?

Thanks & Regards

Hello Amit,

I confirmed this is a bug, i further using the admin 2 to access employee.
After i click the Add button the access denied prompted (i click the ok
button to close the popup message) then i still can input the employee
Name. i then able to save the record. Further, i can delete this employee,
just only the access denied prompted.
