Bug Description

I had some problems importing SVG files created in inkscape into other
programs (and some problems even in older versions of inkscape).
By trial and error (erasing objects one by one) I could locate the
problematic object.
After a quick check in the XML editor I noticed that the text styles
remained in the object CSS even after I converted the type object into
paths.
The problem was solved only when I took out the text styles.
Using Inkscape SVN from Autopackage (jun06-2007)

The attached sample file shows the problem.
These remaining styles affect blender (the curves are imported incorrectly) and Adobe Illustrator (it crashes when I try to import the file).
This is easily solved removing the text style data from the document XML tree, so I can conclude that those styles are causing the problems.
That information is no longer needed (the file was converted to pahts), so I think it should be removed.

Reverting duplicate status, as this report is not related to converting CSS class references into CSS style properties (the persistent CSS text and font style properties already are part of the 'style' attribute of the original text).

The persistent text and font style properties of groups or paths can also cause issues in exports using UniConvertor-based output extensions ("ValueError: Cannot find font Slim." or similar).
