Translation bug/wording in function plotter interface

Bug Description

The function plotter has a translation bug. In English it says "Samples" what should probably be "Number of Samples". German translation is "Beispiele" (i.e. "Examples"), the correct translation should be "Anzahl der Punkte"

I can confirm this. I just tried the function plotter, and was very confused by the entry "Beispiele". I set it to 2 and was puzzled that I only got a straight line, until I found out, that it should mean Number of Points. Should be fixed

Yup, there should be a contextual split. Added to my TODO for contextual splits :)

Actually, I don't think that's the correct "Samples". Wouldn't "Stichproben" be closer to what he means?

I don't think that Stichproben is the right word, because it is used in an experimental context, not in mathematics (except statistics of course). And here it means definitly something like number of points, for which Stichproben would be inadequate. Another word could be "Stützstellen" or more precise "Anzahl der Stützstellen", but "Punkte" is also fine.

I agree with markus. The english version should be changed to "number of samples" and the correct german translation would then be "Anzahl der Stützstellen".

P.S. I did implement an extension for the function plotter that does draw nice scale bars. I just did not find the time to publish it.

Fix committed in revision 20106. German translation is now obviously terribly outdated:

2768 translated entries
821 fuzzy entries
650 untranslated entries
