Bug Description

Binary package hint: inkscape

Inkscape crashes whenever I try to open eps files generated with some old version of gnuplot. I attatch an example file which consistently reproduces this bug. Both gwenview, krita and ImageMagik's display seem to have no problem with this file.

1) Could you attach a sample EPS file that crashes Inkscape?
2) Does the crash still happen with Inkscape 0.47 or a nightly build of 0.47+devel?

@suv - There is already an attached EPS file. I am able to open in successfully in Ubuntu using inkscape_0.47.0-2ubuntu3

I'll close this report for now, unless one of the reporters is able to confirm that the bug still exists in the latest official Ubuntu package or in the upstream version of inkscape 0.48

@Alex - oops, I missed that file in the list ;-)

'spect_comparison.eps' opens without crash in Inkscape 0.47, 0.48 and 0.48+devel r9762 on OS X 10.5.8 (poppler 0.12.x, Ghostscript 8.70)
