Comment 4 for bug 273978

A simple way to reproduce this:
1. Use a particular locale, like Catalan: export LANG=ca_ES.UTF-8;
2. Run: mkdir cinc; cd cinc; bzr init .; chmod 000 .bzr; bzr log;

You get:
