I tried this with the official version, and also a development version.
Apparently, Inkscape is still making menu droppings on the Win32 version.
It seems to work until you click on the restore button, resizing the window to full screen.
Then selecting something such as document preferences makes quite a mess.
[I realize that netbooks are small screens, but at the same time, there were more sold in the last quarter than most other computers-
