Same here as LostInBrittany, using Ubuntu and screen resolution 1280x800. Fairly annoying since many good things get cropped below the screen.

Suggestions:
* customizable toolbars (could remove some useless tools)
* scrollable toolbars (might be bad...)
* hide the extra that didn't fit behind a button (OpenOffice, bad solution)
