Switch to the text tool --> font properties are detected and shown in the 'Text and Font' dialog.

Trigger: AFAICT if the 'style' attribute of the parent text object has a '-inkscape-font-specification' property which does not fully resolve to an available font specification (?).

On OS X 10.7.5:
- reproduced with Inkscape 0.48.5:
Independent of current tool context 'Text and Font' does not display current font properties of affected text objects.
- reproduced with Inkscape 0.91 and 0.91+devel r14375:
'Text and Font' to display font properties of the selected font in the text tool context, but not in the select tool context.
