See that thread for more tests. I was able to demonstrate error messages from Dr. Memory in what seem like the appropriate places when a test program was run that was linked with libpoppler. These messages did not appear when it was linked without libpoppler and run the same way. This is consistent with a bug in libpoppler, at least the one in devlibs61.
