Comment 41 for bug 165865

I'd like to second the 'bug' fraction, since I share jasonphysics' experience.

While it's not a 'classical' bug in the sense that something breaks spectacularly or that the SVG spec is interpreted wrongly, it definitively *is* a bug regarding user interface and user expectations (including me as Inkscape user).

However, when fixing this bug, an interface to *deliberately* change the marker color to be different from the stroke color (preferably in the "Fill and Stroke" pane) should not be forgotten.
