I agree! So the transformation only acts to the copy (duplicate) of
selected source.

Advanced there would be one or two chooseable multipliers near the "apply
to copy" checkbox, so you could easy construct rectangular (2 key-ins for
rows and columns) or polar (1 key-in for angle) arrays!
