this isn't possible within the SVG specifications as far as I know which
makes it extremely unlikely

however there may be other ways to achieve the end result you want so I
have changed the summary

slicing apart a path (using the boolean operations) and then grouping the
above and below slices might be enough but it would require a lot of work.
