Comment 3 for bug 263166

Hi,

I know that this thread has been classified under the "wishlist" category, but this is really the way the tool *should* behave. I don't have experience developing for Inkscape but I would be happy to fix this feature myself if somebody points me to the location file in the code repository where the changes have to be made.

It seems that this is something that should not be that hard to implement! :)
