finally i'd had a 3rd point :
3. add a checkbox in the import window.

I'm also wondering if a window listing all the imported document would not be cool. For example actually importing an external SVG simply adds all its element to the document. i've done a little python-script that help import svg docs as svg:image too. So this window could provide an option to embed both type of imported docs.
