    there is a fundamental, and deliberate, difference between the two options as they are currently implemented. The 'canvas' option preserves the original absolute coordinates of the objects while the 'drawing' option does not, it instead translates everything to the origin at (0,0). This leads to distinctly different behaviour when viewing the file, as it should.
     I think this is behaving at it was designed to behave, and I don't think this is a bug.
