Found information was located at:
1. instance types on - http://aws.amazon.com/ec2/instance-types/
2. instance prices per region - http://aws.amazon.com/ec2/pricing/

In the process of updating 2 missing regions were identified to be missing from our current goamz v3 - Frankfurt and Aws GovCloud (US). May need to add in later releases.
