This patch takes care of fixing the exception and also turning the feature off per default via a preference. I wouldn't want to burden everyone with entering the password again and again for each calendar after an upgrade.

If you are using this patch and would like to have it on again, please set "calendar.network.multirealm" to true in the advanced config editor.

I'd appreciate speedy review (from anyone) so we can throw this in the nightly builds.
