Keng-yu -- Can you give this a test on the x220 with Natty? I have a x220 in hand now, and have not been able to reproduce this with either the 1.12, or the recently released 1.16 BIOS:

vanhoof@brooklynzoo:~$ sudo dmidecode --string=system-version
ThinkPad X220
vanhoof@brooklynzoo:~$ sudo dmidecode --string=system-product-name
4286CTO
vanhoof@brooklynzoo:~$ sudo dmidecode --string=bios-version
