Comment 28 for bug 1419041

We haven't been able to successfully fix this bug so far. We have a suspicion (bad interaction between the image download code and the simplestreams endpoint) but no definitive evidence. As of 1.8 beta7, we've added log statements in the code that, hopefully, will help us diagnose and fix the problem when it happens again. If it happens, please collect the logs (/var/log/maas/*) and upload them to this bug.
