Comment 3 for bug 1993090

Hey there,

Just commenting on this bug since it's gone a little stale. LXD has LTS releases[1] that remain supported for several years, so in my opinion I believe the default for MAAS should be to track with whichever is the latest LTS available (5.0, currently), and then maybe give the user the option to select an alternative snap channel to use during deploy if they so desire. Or maybe just choose between whichever LTS releases are still supported. The feature releases (5.16, 5.17, etc) are only supported for about a month.
