Comment 3 for bug 1749768

This variable was added in the original mysql as a compile-time option and introduces a new dependency on numa libraries. Changing the way we compile mysql is considered a feature and takes extensive testing which contradicts the maintenance policy for stable products. Closing as Invalid, since this is not a bug but a feature request.
