Maybe if the Ubuntu Cloud page didn't say;
"Amazon EC2 fits perfectly with Ubuntu Enterprise Cloud's modularity, virtualisation capabilities, range of applications and optimised performance."
people wouldn't get so passionate.
http://www.ubuntu.com/cloud sets expectations of "optimised performance" on EC2 and 10.04 is delivering worse performance than 8.04.
As a constructive comment; Maybe you want to remove the optimised performance claim from the cloud page until the EC2 issue has been resolved.
