Jean-François, I'm afraid I haven't hat the time to have a close look at this.

Before tackling this, the project should be setup to have a proper installation procedure and so on. My initial look at the problem revealed r-m was for example looking for glade stuff in the current directory, etc.

I guess adding gettext support is easy, but you'll have to add some setup.py/automake stuff to handle the po dir, translation installs and so on. I guess there's plenty of GNOME python apps you can salvage for this kind of stuff.

FWIW, Catalan translation is ready, it's just not working properly as I don't know enough python/pygettext to know how to add correct calls.
