Hi Chris,

1. In the meantime I tested the current Lubuntu Groovy iso file in the HP Elitebook 8560p.

It boots when I made a nopersistent live drive using mkusb-plug, and I could repeat it.

2. I don't know if the error that you see at shutdown causes failure at the next boot (when there is an ext partition). Maybe. I think we help from Steve or Thomas to dig deeper into that problem.
