Bug Description

Hello

I tried to make a printout of the german 13.04 manual from the download of the "printer friendly" version, using a HP color LaserJet 2600nse, running Ubuntu 13.10, using the printer drivers provided. The printout quality is poor, normal printing seem to have a shadow, bold printing generats curious signs.
Using Windows XP and Acrobat XI reader Printout is of good quality, but there are merly black bars instead of the Text on the Title Page. So I wonder, whether the Bugs are in the text or the Printer Drivers provided with Ubuntu, as both Versions Printer and Display appear fine on the Screen.

Regards
H. Wissing

Hello, is this still a problem for you, and if so, would you be able to answer comment #1 above? Thanks.

I believe the link that the reporter used was http://files.ubuntu-manual.org/manuals/getting-started-with-ubuntu/13.04/de/print/Erste%20Schritte%20mit%20Ubuntu%2013.04.pdf via http://ubuntu-manual.org/downloads

I can't reproduce the problem but I don't have the reporter's printer make&model.
