I have this problem on Ubuntu 17.04 using nvidia-381 driver on a Gigayte GTX 1060 card.

After screen blanking from a dpms command or the screensaver power saving, my HP Z27s (3840x2160 pixels) monitors only show black then "no signal".

Both monitors are connected via DisplayPort.

The monitors immediately turn on when I switch to a text console. Returning to the graphics display shows no signal.
