Binary package hint: rsyslog

regular update, hung at installing configuration file for mysql, so xkilled the update manager, then this bug happened.

Have you tried to run in a terminal "sudo dpkg --configure -a" and then complete your update?

Yes, I fixed it by doing that straight away - no big deal. I only submitted the report because there were none others like it.

The dpkg terminal log indicates that this was actually a problem with the installation of mysql-server-5.1.

I believe this is actually a debconf bug.
