Hello!
So, I'm happy it did work for you (at least as a mitigation, if not a bug resolution). I assigned this bug to myself so I don't loose track and will queue it in my mid-term (to come back) bug list if you don't mind. Just because, like you said, I want to make sure this behavior is ok.
That happens because of:
pam_ecryptfs - PAM module for eCryptfs
I just wan't to make sure it is working as planned (or not) in a near future.
