Just a quick note that we now have a fully fledged BT client in AllPeers (see http://www.techcrunch.com/2007/09/09/allpeers-preview-for-techcrunch-readers/). We're definitely motivated to extend and improve this. The whole implementation is open source and based on the Mozilla stack (NSPR, NSS, XPCOM, etc.).
