Seb, do you have a link to Gnome design document handy? Any discussion about this? Mailing list posts?

If we add a keystroke for copy to clipboard we would have:

 • Print : whole screen
 • <Alt>Print : focussed window
 • <xyz>Print : copy to clipboard, but what? window, desktop, area?

The old system was a good solution, I don’t get this. Is it just plain old feature-remov-itis?
